Team Lead

The responsibility of the Team Lead is to oversee the operations of the home. It is their duty to oversee the employees and ensure overall health and safety of all employees and individuals. Team Leads are responsible for all of the tasks the Homemaker / Personal Care Provider is responsible for.

Team Lead Tasks:

  • Know and follow all ISP specified procedures and train employees in procedures, as well as attending ISP meetings as requested.
  • Know and follow all medication / treatment administration procedures, oversee and assist Compliance Specialist in any necessary procedures pertaining to medications / treatments.
  • Maintain and oversee all tracking logs, documentation and medication logs, train employees in proper documentation procedures.
  • Supervise and be responsible for any finds maintained in the home including petty cash, personal money of the individuals, and any money used for the maintenance of the home (i.e. utilities, groceries, supplies). Track all spending and maintain all receipts. Supervise and be responsible for maintaining adequate supplies of food, cleaning products and other necessities.
  • Supervise individuals in daily activities.
  • Schedule and ensure transportation of individuals to all activities and appointments.
  • Assist with scheduling employees and posting schedule, locating substitutes or filling in for any open time slots.
  • Supervise in the upkeep of the home and individuals.
  • Oversee medication needs and medication administration. Notify Compliance Specialist in writing of any expired medications or any medications that are running low before they run out.
  • Communicate with consumer families representing MCA positively at all times.
  • Know and follow all emergency procedures, conduct emergency drills monthly.
  • Assist with the training of new staff members.
  • Turn in all paperwork, receipts, etc. in a timely manner to Compliance Department.
  • Any other tasks or duties as assigned by the Compliance Department.





MCA Employee Requirements:

  • Experience DODD (Required)
  • Supervisory Experience prefered
  • Must have weekend availability
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Drier's license and car insurance (Required)
  • Must participate in Continuing Education classes throughout the year
