Medina Creative Housing hosted its fourth annual Independence Walk to celebrate not only the country’s independence, but also the independence of their residents.
For more than 20 years, MCH has created opportunities for individuals with disabilities including adaptive homes, vocational opportunities and training and therapy. Individuals, who may not have been able to get a satisfying job, are now running businesses such a doggie day care, a greenhouse, a line of coffee products and property maintenance. Like typical Medina residents, they are now able to live independently and contribute to their community.
