The festivities began on Creative Living Way where several individuals offered comments about the journey MCH has taken, among them Carlson, Historical Board member Terry Isaac, family members Robert Tittel, Jerry Lemons, Rhonda Wilt and Shelly Doering, Commissioner Pat Geissman, Department of Developmental Disabilities John Martin, State Senator Larry Obhof, Chief Program Officer/Finance Fund Moniqua Spencer, Congressman Jim Renacci, and Medina County Board of DD Chair Julie Boyle.
All extended congratulations on the continuing accomplishments of MCH, expressed gratitude for the services it performs, and gave glowing examples of the difference it has made to the individuals it serves as well as in the community. MCH has brought in millions of dollars in grant money to this county, and is a recognized model for the entire country.
